Alma Reilich Obituary

Alma Gloria Reilich

Alma Gloria Reilich, age 83, passed away on Tuesday, August 6, 2024 in Albuquerque, New Mexico where she had resided for the past 42 years.

Alma loved to travel the world and experience different cultures. As a military spouse, Alma enjoyed the benefit of being stationed several places as part of her husband's United States Marine Corps (USMC) Military Service. The locations they lived included Turkey, Florida, Germany, Virginia, North Carolina, Guam, Cuba, and Spain.

Alma had a diverse and accomplished career, beginning as a court reporter, an elaborate cake decorator and instructor. She was also a certified Zumba instructor and talented floral artist. Additionally, Alma served as a school liaison for Spanish-speaking families and worked as an interpreter. Her versatility extended to being a holistic massage therapist, a passenger agent at a military terminal in Spain, a painter, and an origami enthusiast.

Left to cherish Alma's memory are her children, Anna Caselle (Michael), Linda Golinski (Edward), Christina Ogea (Kenneth); her grandchildren, Kimberly Treece, Brennen Goldstraw (Kendall), Michael Golinski, Sierra Caselle (Brian Defaz), Evan Ogea; and great-grandchildren, Presley Goldstraw, and Lillian and Luke Treece. Alma is also survived by her brother Robert Lomeli (Margo). Alma Gloria Reilich was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Ronald V. Reilich (Ret. USMC); her son, Joseph Reilich; and granddaughter, Sienna Caselle.

In her unique way, Alma touched the hearts of many and will be profoundly missed. Her creativity and unwavering spirit will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to have known her. May she rest in eternal peace.
