Alma Lowe Thompson

Alma Lowe Thompson, age 79 of Betsy Layne, Kentucky passed away Wednesday, November 8, 2023 at her home.
She was a homemaker and a member of the Bent Branch Old Regular Baptist Church.
Alma was born at Pilgrim, Kentucky on January 27, 1944 a daughter of the late Amos and Elsie Jones Lowe.
Along with her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Charles E. Thompson on July 3, 2010 and also by one brother, Louie "Irvin" Lowe.
She is survived by three daughters, Deloris Thacker of Pikeville, Kentucky, Carolyn Thompson of Betsy Layne, Kentucky and Brenda Bentley (David) of Betsy Layne, Kentucky; one brother, Julius Dean Lowe (Darlene) of Pikeville, Kentucky and two sisters, Margie Elkins of Lexington, Kentucky and Maudie Thompson of Kingsport, Tennessee.
She is also survived by four grandchildren, Taryn Thacker, Matthew Thacker, Morgan Bentley and Abigail Bentley and four great-grandchildren, Easton Saylors, Ayden Saylors, Arya Saylors and Daxton White and eleven nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be after 6:00 p.m. Thursday, November 9, 2023 at the Bent Branch Old Regular Baptist Church and all day Friday, November 10, 2023 with evening services both evenings at 7:00 p.m.
Funeral Services will be 1:00 p.m. Saturday, November 11, 2023 at the Bent Branch Old Regular Baptist Church. Burial will follow in the Bent Ridge Cemetery at Meta, Kentucky
