Almarie Evans

Almarie Evans, age 58 of Clarksville, Tennessee passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017. Almarie Evans was born September 23, 1958 in Chicago, IL to the parents of Rene Evans andZenora (Prowell) Evans, who preceded her in death. Almarie attended Burnside Grammar School and later John Marshall High School. She moved to Holland, MI in 1992 where she was self-employed. Almarie opened her heart and arms and cared for numerous children in her home for over 20 years. Almarie enjoyed attending church where she rejoiced in receiving the word of God. In her spare time, she found solace while vacationing with her sisters, as well as daily power calls. Almarie leaves to mourn her life: her three children, LaToya Evans, Christopher Evans, Brittany Evans; the father of her children, Fred Mitchell; two grandsons, Derius Evans and Alfonzo Perkins II. Sisters: Shirley (Robert) Miller, Regina (Harold) Hagens, Venita (Cornelious) Rhyne, Francine Evans, and Lenore Heath. Brothers: Rene (Joanne) Evans, Samuel Evans, Robert (Nadine) Evans, Maurice (Sarah) Evans, Scott (Jackie) Evans, Ronald (Lizz) Evans, Kenneth Evans, James Evans, and two sisters Paula and Darlene, who preceded her in death. Funeral Services will be at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, May 16, 2017 at Maple Avenue Ministries, 427 Maple Ave. Holland, MI 49423. Pastor Scott Evans will officiate. A time of visitation will take place prior to the funeral from 9:30 AM to 10:45 AM on Tuesday at the church. Interment will be in West Drenthe Cemetery.
