Alphaeus "Bud" Males Jr.

Alphaeus "Bud" Males, Jr., 75-year-old Langley resident passed away on Wednesday, May 7, 2025, at the St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa. He was born on August 13, 1949, in Hugo, Oklahoma to Alphaeus Males, Sr. and Anna (Crimmins) Males. Bud's younger years were spent in Hugo, then in the mid 50's they moved to Coffeyville, Kansas, where he graduated high school. Bud worked for Union Pacific Railroad for 30 years as a machine operator. On February 19, 1982, he was united in Marriage to Janet (Chambers) in Vinita. Bud was an active member of the Fellowship of Believers Church in Langley. He really enjoyed fishing, quail and pheasant hunting, and playing scratch offs.
Preceding him in death were his parents Al and Anna Males, brothers, Chuck and Donald Males, sisters, Alice Gillespie, and Cathy Primo, and a grandson, Micah Males.
The family includes his loving wife Janet of the home, children, Jeff Brant and wife Kerri of Owasso, Kim Cruz and husband Kevin of Vinita, Anna Christine Males of Coffeyville, Brad Males and wife Kasondra of Langley, Caiden Males of Vinita, his sister, Sharon High and husband Clark, grandchildren, Desiree, Khelcee, Kenzee, Falon, Connor and Owen Males, Jase and Weston Cruz, and one great-grandchild, Everley Boggs.
The family will receive friends on Thursday, May 15, 2025, from 6-8 p.m. at the Burckhalter-Highsmith Chapel in Vinita.
The celebration of life will be held on Friday, May 16, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. at the Fellowship of Believers Church just west of Langley on Hwy 28, Pastor Dave Castleman will officiate.
