Alta "Ali" Crockett Randell passed away peacefully at her home on February 12, 2025, at the age of 78.
Ali was born on June 21, 1946, in Chicago, Illinois. She was raised in Enid, Oklahoma, where she attended all twelve grades and graduated from Enid High School in 1964. Following graduation, she continued her education at Enid Business College. She later moved to Oklahoma City and then to Dallas, Texas, where she began a new chapter in her life.
In 1970, Ali began her career as a stewardess with Continental Airlines. Her very first flight took her from LAX to Honolulu on a 747, marking the beginning of a remarkable journey that allowed her to travel the world. Her years with Continental were filled with adventure, experiences, and memories that few are lucky enough to have. She retired from the airline in 1985.
After retiring from the skies, Ali turned her creative talents to the world of interior decorating. She provided home consulting, space planning, and accessorizing services, with a passion for creating beautiful and functional living spaces. She worked in hospitality design until 2001, when she returned to Enid to assist in caring for her mother.
While back in her hometown, Ali continued using her design skills as part of the team at Lowe's, helping customers plan their kitchen and bathroom projects. She remained with Lowe's until her retirement.
Ali lived a full and vibrant life, surrounded by many friends and loved ones. Her generous heart, love for animals, and warm personality touched everyone who knew her. She was a devoted advocate for animals and helped many find safe and loving homes.
Ali is survived by her many cherished friends and family members. Her presence, creativity, and compassion will be greatly missed.
In accordance with her wishes, Ali was cremated, and her ashes were laid to rest beside her parents at Memorial Park. A private graveside memorial was held under the direction of Ladusau-Evans Funeral Home and Crematory.
