Altha Feneis Obituary

FRANKLIN - Altha Roberts Feneis, a resident of Franklin for 46 years, passed away Sunday, July 7, 2024.
She is survived by her daughters, Susan Feneis (John) Miller and Cindy Feneis Dills, both of Franklin; seven grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Gregory Andrew Feneis, and daughter, Sandra Feneis Merritt.
Altha was formerly an ER nurse for Angel Community Hospital in the 1980s and 90s and held many professional certifications. During her career, she was well respected by her peers. After retirement, Altha enjoyed gardening, sewing and was an avid reader. She cherished visiting with her family and their get-togethers. Altha was of the Catholic faith.
At Altha's request, no public visitation will be held. A graveside service will take place Saturday, July 13 at 12:15 p.m. in Woodlawn Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to the American Cancer Society.
