Altheria was a beautiful lady and always made one feel like family and special. She had a sweet sense of sense of humor and I loved her spirit. She was definitely a real joy to be around. Another Angel readying to fit for her wing. Please find peace, joy, love and strength through her life. God Bless !!!...Clara Johnson

Thank you, Auntie, for always encouraging us to be our best. Her wisdom and advice are cherished. She was the matriarch of our family, the last of my mother's siblings, for the past 25 years, but she stepped in for our missing parents and looked after us all. She has now left us to carry the torch, to keep the flame lit in honor of our ancestors. Auntie always had jokes that would make you laugh until you cried. She referred to each of us as Auntie's favorite niece or nephew. Auntie was the life of the party, yet commanded respect. Auntie had a great love of family and would always be there whenever she was needed without question. I will miss the phone calls, the conversations that will last for hours. Sleep well, Auntie. Thank you for it all. Love you forever, your favorite niece

I am going to miss you Cousin Al. You were one of the family pillars dedicated to keeping the MMH legacy alive. You left big shoes to fill in that regard. When I think of you, I will think of your irreverent humor, your laugh and your forever young energy. Love you for eternity.

One of my fondest memories from cousin Altheria was from childhood. She came to visit us and gave us one of bowling trophies that we still cherish to this day. Hugging and kissing family forever MMH Memories
