Alvan W. Radlinger Jr.

Alvan W. Radlinger Jr., age 77, of Park Falls died on Monday, January 13, 2025, at his home, with his cousin Joseph Rathsack by his side. He was born on March 13, 1947, in Park Falls, the son of Alvan Sr. and Charlette (Rathsack) Radlinger.

After High School he joined the Army and served his country. Later he was a member of the Park Falls American Legion Post. Alvan worked 44 years at the Park Falls Papermill. In his free time, he tended his hobby farm and collected antiques. He had a special love of tractors, especially his Farmall. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, snowmobiling, ATV riding, and spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his aunt Carol Radlinger of Michigan, and many cousins and other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents and sister Kathryn Radlinger.

A memorial service will be held at Birch Street Funeral Service Chapel in Park Falls on Friday January 17, 2025, at 11:00am. Deacon Chet Ball will officiate.

Interment will follow at Nola Cemetery with Military Honors under the auspices of the Park Falls American Legion Post 182.

A visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00am until the hour of the service.
