Alvin J. Bartell, 77, of Lake Tomahawk, entered eternal rest with the Lord on Monday, November 3, 2025, at Howard Young Medical Center in Woodruff.
He was born on August 13, 1948, to the late Alvin and Anna (Rosandich) Bartell in Milwaukee. Alvin was united in marriage to Carol Jaye on June 30, 1973, in Oconomowoc. For almost 50 years Alvin owned and operated Bartell Appliance Service in northern Wisconsin and also had served in the United States Air Force. In his free time, he enjoyed riding his Harley-Davidson. Alvin loved his family and his dogs very much. He was a devoted Christian and a man of strong faith.
Survivors include his wife, Carol; daughter, Christa Bartell (Jeremy); brothers and sisters, John (Rose) Bartell, Steve (Jeanie) Bartell, Mary (Forrest) Ballering, Dick (Wendy) Bartell, and Anna (Dan) Schmitz; brother-in-law, Steve (Kim) Jaye; and many nephews, nieces, and special friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Anna Bartell; brothers, Peter and Joseph Bartell; parents-in-law, Jane and Ted Jaye; and son-in-law, Donald Bartell.
