Alvin Bennink Obituary

Alvin Duane Bennink, age 79, of Coopersville, passed away Saturday, February 22, 2025. He was born in Coopersville, MI to the late Bennie and Kate (Scharphorn) Bennink. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers; Gord Bennink, Harvey (Donna) Bennink, Carroll Bennink and Vernon Bennink. Alvin served in the United States Marines, enjoyed playing cards, remodeling houses with his wife and watching western and mystery movies. He will be deeply missed by his wife of 45 years, Patricia "Patty" Bennink; children, Ben Bennink, Sam (Erick) Kaleta; grandchildren, Axel Bennink, Bruce Kaleta; brother, Morris (Lynn) Bennink; sisters, Ruth (Bob) Garvelink, Irma Rotman, Bonnie (Jerry) Buitendorp; sisters-in-law, Gloria Finkbeiner, Cindy (Rich) Miller, Sue (Mike) Feliconi, Lora (Bob) Boroff and several nieces and nephews. In keeping with his wish cremation has taken place. Condolences for the family may be left on Alvin's guestbook at www.throopfh.com.
