Alvin Mario Daniel, 44, passed away peacefully on May 12, 2025 at Novant Presbyterian Hospital in Charlotte with his loving family by his side.
He was born in Trinidad & Tobago, on January 19, 1981 to Andrew and Pamela John Daniel. He is preceded in death by his grandparents, Lena John and Anthony Mills.
Alvin enjoyed going to watch games and all kinds of sports. He was a very kind and generous person who never met a stranger and he was always willing to help anyone because there wasn’t much he didn’t know how to do. Most of all, Alvin loved the Lord and spending time with his family making many happy memories they will cherish forever.
He is survived by his children, Aaliyah Daniel and Micaiah Daniel; their mother, LaQuila Clontz; siblings, Brenton Daniel (Jinitza) and Kizzian Kennedy (Charlie); aunts, Leslie, Brenda, Martha, Lucy, Sandra, and Christine; Grandparents; Joseph Daniel and Sylvia Daniel; uncles, Alan, Keno, Wayne, Trevor, and Martin; nieces, Shekhinah, Arianna , Iris, and Olivia; nephew, Ethan; and 18 cousins.
Family and friends will gather for visitation from 11:30 a.m. to 12:45 p.m. on Monday, May 19, 2025 at Withers and Whisenant Funeral Home. A funeral service will follow at 1:00 p.m. in the chapel. Burial will follow at Evergreen Cemetery in Belmont, North Carolina.
