Alvin Jones

Alvin Jones, age 81, of Oliver Springs, TN, passed away peacefully at home while holding the hand of his loving wife. A true outdoorsman at heart, Alvin found joy in motorcycles, hunting, fishing, and spending time in nature. He was a talented Master Carpenter whose craftsmanship left a lasting mark on many homes and buildings in the community-including his proud contribution to the renovation and construction of Sharp Funeral Home.

Alvin was preceded in death by his parents, Marshall and Isabell Jones; his son, Richard Jones; and his niece, Lavonna England.

He is survived by his devoted wife, Jenna Jones; sons, David Jones and Keith Jones; daughter, Brooke Jones; grandchildren, Josh Jones (Beth), Bradley (Renee) Jones; great grandchildren, Kalinda, Caliber, Larry, Lainey, and Logan; nephew, Aaron (Randa) England; great-nieces, Deanna England and Kalleen England; great-nephew, Briar England; along with a host of cherished family members and friends.

The family invites all who knew and loved Alvin to gather in remembrance on Saturday, December 20, 2025, at Sharp Funeral Home in Oliver Springs, from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. During this time, those who wish may take part in one of Alvin's favorite pastimes-knife trading, an activity he enjoyed immensely. Guests are also encouraged to bring their favorite stories and memories to share as we celebrate the life of a man who meant so much to so many.
