John Dewayne Cagle

John Dewayne Cagle, age 54, of Hardin Valley passed away Thursday December 11, 2025. He was a graduate of Karns High School Class of 1989. After graduation he continued his work as a mechanic and in autobody until his health would not allow him to continue in those professions. He was a provider and would help anyone in need. He was preceded in death by his daddy Bill Cagle; grandparents Otha and Maude Cagle, Esco and Prudie Norman; step grandmother Maude Sherril Cagle; aunts Ruth, Nancy, Roberta and Brenda; uncles Charles, Ralph, Gene, Frank, Roy, Max, Jimmy, Cleo and Edward; wife Joyce.

He is survived by his momma Marie Cagle; sister Lisa Cagle; niece Sarah Cagle; aunts Lois, Sue, Betty, Jan, Jane and Judy; uncles Earl, Ron and Ken; and many cousins and friends. He is also survived by longtime friend Jake Stafford; devoted friend "brother" Johnny Paige; lifelong minister Rev. Don Hubbard (Jane).

The family would like to thank Dr. Ross Nesbit and the DCI team and Dr. Michael Freeman for the many years of care and support. We also want to thank the 5th floor MCC staff at UT Medical Center.

Family and friends will meet on Monday December 15, 2025 at 1:00 P.M. at Marietta Church Cemetery for a graveside service with Rev. Billy Bell officiating.
