MR. ALVIN SENNETT KILLEN

Funeral services for Mr. Alvin Sennett Killen will be held at 10 AM Saturday, December 6, 2025, at John E. Stephens Chapel with Rev. John E. Stephens officiating. Interment will be in Pine Grove Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be 5 PM – 8 PM Friday, December 5, 2025, at John E. Stephens Chapel.

Mr. Killen, 91, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025, at the Martha Jo Leslie MS Veterans Home in Kosciusko, MS. He lived most of his life in Neshoba County and was the 5th child of eight to Alvin and Lottie Killen. He was a graduate of House High School and an Army Veteran. He worked in Ford parts for 20 years. He later worked baling hay for the public. He loved riding horses and going to Lovern's Arena. He was a man of few words.

He is preceded in death by his parents, Alvin and Lottie Mowdy Killen; sisters, Jewel Warren, Bonnie McMullen; brothers, Seibert, Edwin, Willis Ray and Charlie Killen; beloved spotted horse, Dan.

Survivors include his special friend, Martha Poelzl; daughters, Kay Burks (Willis), Shelia Watson (Jack), Nancy McCary (Charlie); sister, Hazel Gray (Luke); (3) grandchildren, Ashley Burks, Lindsey Nicholson (Stephen), Jake Watson (Nicole); (4) great-grandchildren, Breana Brown, Christian Nicholson, Caroline Nicholson, Stevi Watson.

Pallbearers are Terry Warren, Matthew Warren, Michael Killen, Robert Killen, Stephen Nicholson, Trey Herring, Christian Nicholson.
