Alvin Maxwell Lilly

Alvin Lilly age 64 of Lexington died on October 30, 2024. He was born on February 21, 1960 to the late James Logan and Minnie Jo Holly Lilly in Versailles, KY. Alvin graduated from Tates Creek High School and worked as a chef, most recently for Highgroove at Tates Creek. He was an avid dog lover, a big Louisville sports fan, a wonderful cook, he loved to watch old western movies, and he was a great dancer. He was known to have "rocked the floor". Alvin was preceded in death by the love of his live, his wife Nellie.
Alvin is survived by Brothers, David K. Lilly, James Logan (Valerie) Lilly, Jr., Vincent Lopez Lilly, Robert Lemon (Monica) Lilly, Dwight Neil (Sandra) Lilly, Stefan Lilly, Nicholas Lilly, and Roger S. (Carolyn) Lilly; Sisters, Verna M. (Ramon) Smith and Vanessa Lilly; Daughter, Mahogany Dobbins, and stepdaughters, DD and Tiffany Morgan.
Graveside Homegoing services will take place in the Steele Cemetery in Versailles, KY on Monday, November 4, 2024 at 11 AM.
