Alvin was a faithful member and servant at Meadow Lane Baptist Church in Arlington for decades and, in recent years, cherished his Miller Group Sunday School Class at First Baptist Church in Mansfield. He always enjoyed working on cars and building things, as well as fishing and vegetable gardening.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Glynn and Charline McKinney. He is survived by his devoted wife, Elaine McKinney; his beloved daughter, Sharon McKinney; his treasured grandsons, Everett, Andrew, and Hayden McKinney, along with their much-loved mother, Ashley (Jason) Stone; his son, Jason McKinney (Rachel), and granddaughter, Olivia McKinney; as well as his little brother, Michael (Denise) McKinney, two nieces and their families, and many cousins and extended family. He will also be missed by his faithful dog, Maggie.
