David C. Dorries was born on March 18, 1930, in the quaint town of Billerica, Massachusetts, to his parents Ernest Dorries and Nellie Damon. His life, spanning over 95 years, was marked by dedication, service, and a quiet strength that spoke volumes about his character and commitment.

David’s journey was profoundly shaped by his two decades spent in the United States Air Force. For 20 years, he served his country with honor and distinction, embodying the values of duty, discipline, and patriotism. A graveside with Full Air Force Military Honors, to honor David’s life and service, will be held on March 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. at the DFW National Cemetery located at 2000 Mountain Creek Parkway in Dallas, Texas. The service will provide a solemn occasion for friends and family to gather and pay their respects to a man who gave so much.

David C. Dorries’ life stands as a powerful reminder of the sacrifices our veterans have made. Though he has passed, his memory endures in the hearts of those who cherish freedom and honor. May his soul rest peacefully, his service never forgotten.
