I had the privilege of getting to know and respect Al at what was first called Micro-Rel. My job required me to work close to Al in the wafer fab and I often would seek Al´s advice. Al was extremely approachable and brilliant offering me sound advice and successful methods to solve problems and create better processes. Al was a hero to me and always was very encouraging towards me (I will badly miss him). Luckily for me and my wife, we got to know both Al and Nancy outside of work and had some great times together. Rest in peace Al.

I worked with Al for many years and considered him a great friend and colleague! He was one of several of us that continued to meet frequently for lunch at the Native grill where we would trade memories and small talk for a couple of hours. I will miss my friend.

Al and I shared the same birthday. We worked together at Medtronic for many years. Al was always so kind. I will miss him. God speed Al.

I got to know Al after both of us were retired. Got to know his lovely wife, Nancy as well as they would attend the little retiree group for the Medtronic folks in Tempe, AZ. Al was intelligent, caring and delightful to chat with. Both my husband, Jack O'Neal, and myself enjoyed our visits with Al. The retirement group sends our condolences, and know that he has and will be greatly missed.
