Alvin Rollin Obituary
He was the loving husband of the late Dorothy (Mackey) Rollin.
Born August 12, 1937, he was a son of the late Joseph J. and Mary A. (Muranko) Rollin.
Alvin honorably served his county in the United States Navy. Alvin was an active member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Fairview Village, where he served on various Offices, Boards and Committees. Alvin was also a Sunday School teacher. He was a member of the Corvair Association, Trinity ROMEOS, as well as the Unisys Blue Bell Retirees Group. In his leisure time, Alvin enjoyed working on cars and cheering on his favorite sports teams.
He will be remembered as a devoted husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and uncle.
Alvin is survived by his two daughters, Kristine Rollin, and Kerri Rollin (Harry Orwan); his son, Joseph Rollin (Christine); his grandchild, Michael (Jacquie Sharpless); his great-grandchildren, Danielle, Jayme, Nya, Sarah, and Gianna; and his two nieces, Karen and Lisa.
In addition to his wife and parents, he is preceded in death by his two sisters, Irene and Elsie.
The family will receive visitors Saturday, October 4, 2025 from 1:00 to 2:00 PM at Trinity Lutheran Church of Fairview Village, 1190 Valley Forge Rd, Norristown, PA 19403. A memorial service will begin at 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial gifts to the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation are appreciated.
Arrangements are entrusted to Huff & Lakjer Funeral Home, Lansdale.
