Alvin J. Schrock, 89, of Tuscola, IL passed away at 5:15 PM on Wednesday, September 10, 2025 at his residence.

Funeral services will be held at 9:00 AM on Monday, September 15, 2025 at the HCK West Building, one mile south of Arthur. Bishop Larry Mast will officiate. Burial will follow in the Otto Cemetery. Visitation will be held anytime after 2:00 PM on Saturday, September 13, 2025 and anytime after 10:00 AM on Sunday, September 14, 2025 all at the HCK West Building. The Edwards Funeral Home is assisting with arrangements.

Alvin was born on June 8, 1936 in Arthur, IL. He was a son of Joseph B. and Elnora (Helmuth) Schrock. He married Gertie Ann Stutzman on September 12, 1957, she passed away on June 22, 1997. He later married Barbara Ann Stutzman on August 19, 1998.

He is survived by his wife, Barbara Ann Schrock of Tuscola, IL, four children, Kenneth Schrock and his wife Anita of Tuscola, IL, Willis Schrock and his wife Rhonda of Sarasota, FL, Dorothy Beachy and her husband Omer of Humboldt, IL and Delilah Yoder of Arthur, IL, 15 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren, one great great grandchild, one brother, Levi Schrock of Arthur, IL, and, two sisters, Anna Schrock of Arthur, IL and Martha Beachy and her husband Eli of Arthur, IL.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife, Gertie Schrock, a son-in-law, Roger Yoder, two grandsons, Richard Dale Beachy and Duane Alan Beachy, two sisters, Drucilla Schrock and Ella Schrock, and three brothers, Edward, William and Ervin Schrock, brother-in-law, Phineas Schrock sisters-in-law, Mary Ann (Chupp) Schrock and Mary (Yoder) Schrock.

Alvin was a member of the Old Order Amish Faith.
