Alvin Roy Witt

Alvin Roy Witt went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 25, 2026. He was born to Thomas Witt and Annie Pearl Watts, on July 28, 1951, in Lubbock, Texas.

Alvin loved all his family and friends. He was a loving husband, dad, Pepaw, great Pepaw, and brother.

He was preceded in death by his father, Thomas Witt and wife Betty; mother, Annie Pearl Griseby and husband Oliver; his brother, Charles Witt; his in-laws, Don and Wilma Stanley; several aunts and uncles; his brother-in-law; and cousins-in-law, Roy Jones and Timmy Witt.

Survivors include his wife of 55 years, W. Donetta Witt; children, Chet Witt and wife Mary, Donetta A. Witt; grandchildren, Makayla, Joshua, Sara, and Abby; great-grandchildren, Charles, Caleb, and Melyssa; and his sister, Sylvia Witt. Alvin is also survived by other family members: stepbrothers, Woody and Oscar; stepsisters, Linda Gatlin and Betty Fae Conner; sisters-in-law, Rachel (Floyd) Moore and Darcy Gregory; brothers-in-laws, Kenneth (Julie) Stanley, Charlie (Cindy) Stanley, Tony (Christen) Stanley; several cousins, nieces and nephews; long time friend, David Witt; special cousin, Gracie Brown; bonus daughters, Marie (Frank) Rollins and Tessica Witt; bonus grandson, Justin G.

A memorial service will be from 1-3 p.m., Tuesday, April 14, 2026 at Victory Baptist Church, 1311 E Bankhead Dr, Weatherford, Tx 76086. Rob Catuto will officiate.
