Alyssa (Boser) Siebert, 31-year-old resident of Duluth, formerly of Pierz, passed away on Saturday, October 18, 2025 at Abbott Northwestern Hospital as the result of a Cerebral Aneurysm.
Memorial Mass held on Friday, October 24 at 11:30 AM at St. Joseph's Catholic Church with Father Aaron Nett and Father Kenneth Popp concelebrating. Visitation held on Thursday, October 23 from 4:00-8:00 P.M. and from 9:30 A.M. until the hour of the service on Friday at the church. Parish prayer said at 4:00 P.M. followed by a rosary at 7:00 P.M. Burial held in the parish cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred to the two young boys of Alyssa, Otto and Eike.
Alyssa Boser was born July 16, 1994 in Little Falls to Steve and Cheri (Hansmann) Boser. She grew up in Pierz with her siblings, Gabrielle, Mitchell, Malea, Bailey and Maraya. She attended Holy Trinity Catholic Elementary School in Pierz. Alyssa graduated from Pierz High School with the class of 2013. Alyssa was highly active participating in the following activities during high school: band, National Honor Society, peer helping group, basketball, track, volleyball, church youth group and friends to all. She worked at the Old Bank Restaurant in Pierz during high school. After high school graduation, she attended and graduated as a Registered Nurse from Minnesota State Mankato in 2017. Alyssa worked summers during college at the Silver Bullet, the Pierz Golf Course, Grandma's Restaurant and a few Duluth nursing homes. She was united in marriage to Derek Siebert on October 8, 2022 at St. Joseph's Catholic Church in Pierz, MN. Alyssa and Derek enjoyed trips to the Gulf Coast of Florida and spending time at Universal Studios, especially the Harry Potter exhibit. The couple made their home in Duluth where Alyssa worked as a cardiac nurse at St. Luke's Hospital in Duluth. She was recently promoted to a nurse supervisor in the cardiac department at St. Luke's. Alyssa and Derek attended Peace in Christ Church in Duluth. They were blessed with two boys, Otto and Eike. The couple enjoyed watching Survivor, Cherry High School basketball games, evening walks with their two boys and reading. Spending time with family was a treasured time for Alyssa. Growing up Alyssa was always on the go with her happy go lucky attitude and was always up for a board game or an adventure. Alyssa will be remembered and loved by all who knew her!
Forever cherishing her memory are her husband, Derek Siebert; children, Otto and Eike Siebert; parents, Steve (Cheri) Boser; siblings, Gabrielle (Jordan) Christianson of Gilbert, Mitchell (Rochelle) Boser of Elk River, Bailey Warzeka of Pierz, Malea (Al) Lochner of Pierz, and Maraya Boser of Pierz; father and mother-in-law, Todd (Lori) Siebert of Hermantown; brothers-in-law, Brandon (Ashley) Siebert of Duluth, Cody (Karen Blais) Siebert of Babbitt; grandmother, Jan Hansmann of Little Falls; grandmother-in-law, Jean Loushin of Duluth and 12 nieces and nephews and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Harold and Claudette Boser and Richard "Dick" Hansmann; Jim Lousin and Ken (Donna) Siebert.
As one last selfless act of love and thinking of others, Alyssa was a donor giving the gift of life to someone in need.
