Amanda Lee Billy (nee. Nadratowski), age 39, passed away January 5, 2022. Beloved wife of Brandon Billy for 13 cherished years. Proud mother of Athan. Dear sister of Sam Hopwood and the late Dawn Morrison. Treasured daughter of Brenda Phillips and Michael Nadratowski. Cherished aunt, niece, and cousin to so many. Loving pet parent to dogs Summer and Maggie, cats Lola and Fred, guinea pig George, and hamster Pluto.
Amanda was a vibrant person with many different aspects to her life. She served her country proudly for 3 years in the Army, achieving the rank of Sergeant. She continued on in her life by helping others. Her nursing degree and position at 888 Ohio Comp did just this. Amanda also had a deep love for animals and often volunteered at the Parma Animal Shelter, and of course all of her pets were rescued!
Music was a very important outlet for Amanda. When she couldn't find the words to explain something, she would play you a song. She had many favorites including Pink Floyd, Bob Dylan, and many more. The range of genres she enjoyed didn't stop there. Her taste was very eclectic. Amanda was also a very passionate Browns fan. She loved that it brought her family together every Sunday.
A Memorial Gathering for Amanda will be held Sunday, January 16 from 1PM until the Celebration of Life Ceremony at 5PM at Busch Funeral Home, 7501 Ridge Road, Parma OH. 440.842.7800 www.buschcares.com
