Amanda Louise Cross, a beloved daughter, sister, and devoted mother, passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026, at Hamilton Medical Center. Born on July 18, 1980, in Dalton, Georgia, Amanda's life was woven together with love, compassion, and an unwavering loyalty to her family.
Amanda dedicated much of her professional life to the textile industry working diligently at Tandus until her diagnosis necessitated a shift in her path. Her career, marked by her industrious spirit and impeccable work ethic, reflected her commitment not only to her job but to the wellbeing of those around her.
Known for her gentle demeanor and nurturing nature, Amanda was a loving mother who cherished every moment spent with her daughter, Jessica Cross. With a heart full of kindness, she poured her love into caring for her family, creating a warm and welcoming home where laughter and support flourished. Friends described her as a very nice lady; her spirit resonated with those fortunate enough to know her.
Amanda leaves behind her cherished daughter, Jessica, who was her pride and joy, and siblings, Tony Cross of North Carolina and Olivia (Austin) Suttles of Tennessee, who will remember her with fondness and gratitude for the moments shared and the memories made. She is reunited in spirit with her loving parents, Rick and Janice Cross, who preceded her in death. Their legacy of love and compassion lives on in Amanda’s memory and the lives she touched.
A visitation will be held in her honor on March 4, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at Dalton Funeral Home located at 620 S Glenwood Ave, Dalton, GA, followed by a funeral service beginning at 12:00 PM.
As we gather to remember Amanda Louise Cross, we celebrate a life devoted to love and family. She will be deeply missed, but her spirit will forever be cherished in our hearts.
