Amanda Rogers Orgeron, 84, a native and resident of Lockport, LA, passed away on Friday, September 5, 2025.
Visitation will be from 9:00 am until 11:00 am on Monday, September 8, 2025 at Holy Savior Little Church, Lockport, LA. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 11:00 am with burial to follow in Holy Savior Cemetery.
She is survived by her husband, Esnair J. Orgeron; sons, Douglas Orgeron (Frances) and Kerry Orgeron; daughters, Kathy Robichaux (Allen), Melissa Fayette (Joey) and Melinda Orgeron; step brother, Archie LeCompte; half-sister, Mary Louise Scurlock; 11 grandchildren and 9 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Noah and Edna Rogers; step mother, Eula Rogers; brother, Gerard Rogers; step brother, Richard LeCompte; half-sister, Janice Rogers; step sisters, Dutie Blair and Patricia Trahan.
Amanda was a loving wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
