Richard Anthony Orgeron, 81, a native of Larose and resident of Lockport passed away on Thursday, May 22nd, 2025.
Mr. Richard is survived by his beb of 61 years: Nellie Orgeron; children: Ricky A. Orgeron (Angie), Reginald Orgeron, Ernie Orgeron (Sue), Brenda Bolton (Mike), Danielle Orgeron; 13 grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; and siblings: Arthur Orgeron, Jr., Clovis Orgeron, Alvin Orgeron, Peggy Drott, Diane Adams, and Susan Honeycutt.
Mr. Orgeron was preceded in death by his parents: Arthur J. Orgeron, Sr. and Enola Bernard Orgeron; siblings: Raymond Orgeron, Russel Orgeron, Jerry Orgeron, Rita Smith, Dolores Price, and Gloria Theriot.
Richard loved spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren and great grandchildren; dancing with his wife Nellie, hunting and fishing.
Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation at Falgout Funeral Home in Lockport on Wednesday, May 28th, 2025 from 2:00 pm until 9:00 pm. A Celebration of His Life will begin at 7:00 pm in the funeral home parlor.
