Amanda Jo Reid was born in Greenville, Mississippi on October 25,1954. She went to be with the Lord on August 2,2025. Her parents are Robert Ray Lester(deceased) and Patricia A,Lester. Maternal grandparents were Berty O.McCool and Clara Bishop McCool of Leland. Paternal grandparents were Albert and Mattie Lester of Greenville. She graduated from Greenville Christian School, Mississippi Delta Junior College and Mississippi University for Women. She worked in Jackson,Mississippi upon graduation from college and moved to Tampa Florida where she was the Clerk of Court for the Judge of Dade County Florida. When she returned to the Delta she was at WABG TV until she retired. She is survived by her husband: Donnie Reid of Leland, children Christy Reid of Greenwood and Rob Reid of South Carolina- grandson Cole Reid of Greenwood, as well as her mother Patricia Lester, a sister: Sandy Horne, a nephew: Jason Horne and great niece. Madison Leigh Horne. "Mandy" was fun loving and enjoyed life to the fullest! She loved traveling especially on cruises and Disney World with family and friends. She cared and loved her family and friends and will be missed by all. A memorial service will be held at a later time. Register online at www.mortimerfh.com
