Almost six months have passed, yet she remains on my mind every single day. The pain is still there, but somehow, it has become more bearable. I miss our conversations-I miss the way she would call and talk and talk, almost forgetting I was on the other end of the line. I miss hearing her funny stories, her struggles, her dreams. My sister was fearless. She was bold. She was determined. She was unstoppable.
I wish I could tell her one more time, "I love you, gor," and hear her say, just as she always did, "I love you too, Yuya!"

What gives me strength is the promise of eternity-because of what Jesus did on the cross for us, this is not the end. One day, in a place where joy never fades and love is complete, I will see her again.

me and amanda had been friends since middle school. she was my closest and only best friend, her friendship meant more to me than she could imagine. my favorite memories are whenever we would have a sleepover at her dads place, we would listen to music all night in her room, do face masks, order food at 4am and just laugh all night. another favorite is when we´d go catch a movie and eat some mexican food in the amc plaza near her place. she was the sweetest, funniest girl ever with a pure heart. we would call each other twin bc of how alike we were, she understood me like no one else. i love and miss her so much. my leo baby.
