Amber Nicole (Engelbrecht) Bennett of Eldon, passed away on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at Lake Regional Hospital. Amber was born on November 8, 1993 in Jefferson City, Missouri, the daughter of Kevin D. Engelbrecht and Cheryl J (Wolfe) Fleischmann of Jefferson City, Missouri. On April 9, 2014 she was married to Cody A. Bennett.
Amber attended school at Cole R-V Eugene. She went on to obtain her certification as a vet tech. Amber always felt the need to rescue animals. There is no way of knowing how many owe a better life due to her obsession for caring for animals. Her fur baby "Allie" misses her terribly.
A few years after starting her family, she became a self-employed groomer for fur babies. Above anything else her girls Lyla and Lanie were her great joy in life.
Amber is survived by her daughters Lyla and Lanie, her special friend Justin Schwartz and his daughters Rachael and Macie; parents Kevin Engelbrecht (Roseann) of Jefferson City, Cheryl Wolfe-Fleischmann (Richard Gordon) of Jefferson City, brother Austin Engelbrecht (Stephanie) of Illinois; sister Kaitlyn Engelbrecht (Christian) of Kansas, grandmother Doris Engelbrecht of Jefferson City, numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends including her best friend Pam Asher and husband Vern.
Amber was preceded in death by her husband Cody Bennett, step-father Brian Fleischmann, grandparents Le Roy Engelbrecht and Carl and Viola Wolfe.
Friends will be received on Saturday, February 22, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m. at Hedges-Scott-Millard Funeral Home, 902 East North Street, Eldon, MO. Funeral Service will follow at 12:00 p.m..
