LAUREN RASHELLE SHIELDS, daughter of Louis and Theresa Wiles Anthony, was born on November 6, 1989, in
Osage Beach, Missouri, and passed away on February 2, 2026, in
Conway, Missouri, at the age of 36 years.
Lauren attended Lebanon High School and was never one to sit still or take an ordinary path. She worked as a CNA while pursuing her calling to care for others and later proudly graduated from massage therapy school. That day, her entire family watched as she walked across the stage-beaming with pride, celebrating her hard work, determination, and the future she was building.
Lauren had a deep love for life and the outdoors. She found joy in fishing and hunting, working cattle, and tending to her goats and chickens. Recently, she discovered a natural talent for working cattle and took pride in how instinctively it came to her. She loved movies and TV, was a devoted foodie, and looked forward to elaborate meals made especially for her on birthdays and special occasions.
She had a special talent for shoe shopping and loved finding the perfect pair. She also enjoyed collecting Stanley and Brumate cups and delighted in the simple, fun things that made life sweeter.
More than anything else, Lauren's greatest joy and most important role was being a mom and a wife. Her children were her whole world, and she poured her heart into her family with a love that was fierce, tender, and unwavering. She loved her family and friends deeply and was deeply loved in return.
Lauren lived with heart, grit, and joy. She will be profoundly missed by all who knew her and loved her, and her legacy will live on through the lives she touched and the love she gave so freely.
She is survived by: her husband, Rodney, of the home; her children: Lily Ryan of Lebanon and Waylon Shields of Conway; her parents, Louis and Theresa Anthony of Lebanon; sisters: Beth Slavens and husband Jeffrey of Lebanon and Samantha Oliver and husband Robby of Long Lane; brothers and sisters-in-law: Melissa Tompkins and husband Mark of Stockton; Josh Jones and wife Jessica of Conway; Alisha Jones of Conway; Steven Shields and wife Tori of Conway; nieces and nephews: Braeden and Jaxon Slavens; Shelby Napper and husband Josh; Alexis Oberbeck; Natalie, Lane and Cooper Oliver; Madison Fowler, Abbigayle Fowler; Dannie Jo; Joshua Jones and wife Sierra; Allena Shields; Justin and Jesse Davis; Weldon O'Stryker; and Raylynn Jones; grandmother, Nadine Wiles of Bringhurst, Indiana; father and mother-in-law Steve and Cherrie Shields of Conway; other relatives and many friends.
