Amber Rose Engelhardt

Amber Rose Engelhardt, age 39, resident of Toledo, Ohio, passed away on December 17, 2025, in the comfort of her home, just two days shy of her 40th birthday. She was born on December 19, 1985, in Toledo, Ohio.

Amber held an Associate’s Degree and was known for her intelligence, which she combined with the willingness to support everyone around her. She had a unique ability to inspire others with her generosity and kindness, always willing to lend a helping hand or a comforting word. Her family and friends cherished these qualities, remembering her as someone who often put others' needs before her own.

Her personality was as vibrant as her interests. Amber found joy in a variety of hobbies; she loved crocheting, a skill passed down to her from her grandmother, solving puzzles and crossword puzzles, and with her love for animals, she spent many mornings watching birds and butterflies while enjoying coffee alongside her mom.

Amber had a special love for scents and enjoyed filling her home with the aroma of lavender and lilac. Her tastes extended to her favorite indulgences, such as savoring a chilled Pepsi or a comforting piece of pineapple upside-down cake. Amber’s family was everything to her, especially her daughter, Dallis, which made 6 generations of girls on her mother's side of the family; their shared moments became lasting memories etched in her heart. She will be remembered not only for her loving spirit, but also for the gentle light she brought to the world. Her memories will forever live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know her.

Those left to forever cherish her memory are her mother, Dana (Derek Smead) Dominique; father, Shawn (Mary Ann) Engelhardt; daughter, Dallis Rose Juhnke; siblings, Todd (Erica) Dominique Jr., Devin (Bianca) Dominique, Damon Dominique, Brittnany (Justin) Engelhardt, and Shawn Engelhardt Jr. (Brittney); paternal grandparents, Marsha and David Engelhardt; and many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

Amber was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Claude Cheatham Jr. and Margaret Diane "Meis".

Family and friends may visit at Freck Funeral Chapel, 1155 S. Wynn Road, Oregon, Ohio 43616, on Thursday, January 8, 2026, from 12:00 pm – 2:00 pm, with the memorial service beginning at 2:00 pm.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Amber’s family.
