Brian Lee Keaton

August 22, 1960 – March 2, 2026

Brian Lee Keaton, 65, of Oregon Ohio passed away peacefully on March 2, 2026. Brian was born in Oregon, Ohio on August 22, 1960. Brian was a proud lifelong member of the community he loved so deeply.

Brian was preceded in death by his parents, Betty Jean King and Bill Keaton; his stepmother, Marie Keaton; his daughter, Andrea; his brother, John (Cheryl) Welsh; sister in law Brenda and his sister, Debby Leonard.

He leaves behind a family who adored him: his son, Brian (Nikki) Keaton II; his daughter, Ashley Keaton; his brothers, Jim Keaton, Joe (Trish) Keaton, and Duane (Brenda) Leonard; as well as countless extended family members, nieces and nephews, friends, and the many non-biological children who lovingly called him Dad.

Brian was a proud grandfather to Alex (Michael), Karis (Noah), Callie, Riley, and Gradon. He was a cherished great-grandfather to Buckley, Knoxlynn, Wesley Nash, and soon-to-be-born Emery Jean. His legacy lives on in each of them.

After retiring as a tire salesman, Brian embraced retirement fully. He spent his days working on small engines, helping neighbors who quickly became family, riding his motorcycle, reading his Bible, and watching the sunset. He was never one to sit still when someone needed a hand - he simply showed up, without being asked.

Brian never missed a game, a milestone, or a moment to cheer on his children and grandchildren with his whole heart. He bragged endlessly about them and made sure the world knew how proud he was. He had a way of lighting up any room he entered. His faith was unwavering, and he shared it freely with anyone who would listen - and everyone wanted to listen. His warmth, humor, and servant's heart made those around him want to be better.

The family would like to extend their deepest gratitude to the compassionate staff at Orchard Villa and the team at Elara Caring Hospice for their kindness, dignity, and exceptional care throughout this journey. We will be eternally grateful.

There will be no formal service at this time. A celebration of Brian's life, including the spreading of his ashes and a dinner gathering, will be announced in the near future. All who knew and loved him are welcome and encouraged to attend.

Brian's life was defined by love - love for God, love for his family, and love for people. His legacy of faith, kindness, and wholehearted devotion will continue to shine for generations.
