Amber A. Thiel

Our hearts are broken to announce the unexpected passing of Amber A. Thiel. She was the beloved mother of Janice ( Brian) Anderson and the late Joseph Robert Wells. Devoted grandmother of Brooke Anderson, Alexis Anderson, Brittany Wells ,Damien Hartke , Alex Wheeler. Dear sister of Gloria ( George ) Radcliffe, Naomi (late Lewis) Thompson, Steve ( Maria) Chmelovsky and Robert (Carey) Chmelovsky. Amber shared 23 years with her partner Audrius "Odie) Baitaragis . Fond cousin to Dennis, Richie, Ronnie and the late Ray. She will be remembered fondly by her many nieces and nephews. Amber was preceded in death by her mother, Charlotte Oleski. Amber was a strong willed, hard working woman who sacrificed much to provide for her children. Nothing meant more to her than her children and grandchildren, the love lessons she provided them will be with them forever. Visitation is Wednesday, December 3, 2025 from 4 PM to 8 PM at Foran Funeral Home, 7300 W. Archer Ave.(55th street just west of Harlem). Visitation on Thursday from 9 AM until time of a Service in Celebration of Amber's life at 11 AM. Per her wishes, Amber will be cremated and then buried with her son at a later date.
