Amber Christina Vera was a beloved mother, daughter, sister and friend that peacefully passed away September 30th, 2025, in Deer Park, Texas. Amber was the cherished daughter of Rodney Norman Tucker and Donna Jo Anglin born on March 24, 1983 in San Antonio, Texas.

She was raised in Houston, Texas and graduated from Clear Lake High School and attended San Jacinto College for Cosmetology. Amber worked at the Baybrook Mall, Sketchers shoes where she became an assistant manager, and KinderCare where she worked with kids.

But her favorite job was when she became a career housewife and stay at home mom. Amber lived in a loving home in Deer Park, Texas with her husband Leo Vera and their two boys Johnny and Brandon Vera; She is also survived by her father Rodney Norman Tucker and step mother Denice Tucker, brothers Clayton and Rodney Tucker, Richard Anglin, mother in-law Mary Vera, grandmother Beverly Tucker plus numerous aunts, uncles and cousins. She loved being a mother and taking care of her family and enjoyed family gatherings, family vacations, and holidays with the family. She loved music and dancing; we would go to the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo every year. But just being with family was the most important thing to her.

Amber will be dearly missed by her family and friends she leaves behind that will cherish her memory daily.

Memorial Service will be held on Saturday October 11th at 1pm at Deer Park Funeral Directors, 336 E. San Augustine St., Deer Park TX, 77536.
