Amdi Hoxha
"Loving husband, father, grandfather & brother"
Amdi Hoxha, 85, of Oakville, passed away peacefully on Saturday, October 25, 2025 at Waterbury Hospital with his family by his side. He was the beloved husband of Refiko (Jazxhi) Hoxha.
Amdi was born on August 22, 1940, in Kurile, Devoll, Albania, a son of the late Kurtali Hoxha and Dile Hoxha. For many years, he worked as a tractor operator in Albania. He was dedicated to his faith and his family.
Besides his wife of Oakville, Amdi is survived by his son, Perparim Hoxha and his wife, Mirela of Oakville, CT, daughter, Irena Braholli and her husband, Simon of Albania, grandchildren, Irdi, Inesa, Elis, Julia and Jamie, brothers, Samedin, Bejadin, Petrit and Barjam Hoxha and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Arrangements: Calling hours for Amdi will be held on Wednesday evening, October 29, 2025 from 6:00 – 8:00 p.m. at Chase Parkway Memorial/The Albini Family Funeral Home, 430 Chase Parkway, Waterbury, CT. His burial will take place in Albania at a later date.
