Amelia Duran Obituary
Amelia G. Duran, age 81, of Cumming, GA., passed away on Thursday, July 20, 2023 at her home. She was a member at Harmony Grove Baptist Church for 62 years.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Autis and Vera Parks and by her brother, Robbie Parks.
She is survived by her husband of 62 years, Thurman Duran; her children, Allen Thurman Duran and his late wife Vicky, Becky Hermann and her husband George S. Hermann; grandchildren, Andrew Duran and his wife Whitney, Marcus Duran, Lauren Plate and her husband Bryce, Stephen Hermann; great grandchildren, Austyn, Linkyn, and Maesyn Duran, R.J. (Rebecca Jane) Plate.
Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, July 23, 2023, at 2:00 p.m. at Ingram Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Andrew Duran, Rev. Scott Sorrells, Rev. Jack Pilcher, and Rev. Rodney Pilcher officiating.
A visitation will be held on Friday, July 21, 2023, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Saturday, July 22, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. and again on Saturday from 4:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m, and Sunday, July 23, 2023, from 10:00 a.m. until time of service at the funeral home.
Interment will follow at Sawnee View Gardens in Cumming, Georgia.
