Amelia Lei Freeman, a gentle and sweet soul, was born on August 27, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri. With a heart as big as her smile, Amelia was cherished deeply by all who knew her. She embarked on her journey alongside her twin sister, Brinley, and from the very beginning, they fought hard together, embodying a bond that only twins can share. Amelia's love for her older sister, Alivia, was profound; Alivia treasured her with an unparalleled depth of devotion. Amelia had a unique way of finding comfort and peace in her sleep, often spreading her arms wide as if to embrace the world around her. With her left hand snuggled close to her face, she exuded a serene tranquility that warmed the hearts of those who watched over her. Throughout her short life, Amelia was surrounded by an abundance of love from her parents, grandparents, great-grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins. Each member of her family held her dear, and she brought joy and laughter into their lives, even if only for a brief time. Amelia left this world far too on December 9, 2024, in Independence, Missouri. Her departure has left an irreplaceable void in the hearts of her loved ones, but they find solace in the memories of her sweetness and the light she brought into their lives. Her passing was preceded by her grandmother, Tara Lei Freeman; her great-grandparents, Marjorie Lafferty, and Ezekiel Abanishe. Her precious memory will live on through her parents, Paige Cornelius, and Sam Freeman; her twin sister, Brinley Freeman; her big sister, Alivia; her maternal grandparents, Katrina Peerson (Kurt) and Dave Hutchins; her paternal grandfather, Richard Freeman II; her maternal aunts and uncles, Khloe Peerson, Kade Peerson, Katie Peerson, Jordan Beneman, Kole Peerson, Dylan Beach, and Kelsey Peerson; her paternal aunt and uncles, Jacob Solomon Greene, and Alex and Bailey Freeman; her baby cousin, Ivy Rae Freeman, her great-grandparents, Ruth Abanishe, Donna Scrimager, and Richard Freeman I, as well as her beloved dog, Zeus. A visitation will be held in her honor at Carson-Speaks Chapel on December 23, 2024, from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM, followed by a funeral service at the same location from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM.
