Amelia Zala Obituary
Amelia Rose Zala (Terry James Moenkhaus), age 35, left us tragically on May 29, 2023, at her home in Georgia. Amy was born on January 2, 1988, in Chagrin Falls where she spent the majority of her life. She is survived by father, Scot Moenkhaus, mother, Eva Horvath (Zala), brothers, Christopher & Daniel Moenkhaus, and many relatives. Starting off at a young age Amy dove headfirst into engineering and computer science which propelled her to work for NASA and numerous others over decades; remarked once by a colleague as a super-computer for her astounding abilities. To honor her memory, we will be celebrating Amy's life in the outdoors where she loved spending time. Please join us in this celebration at Frohring Meadows (16780 Savage Road, Bainbridge Township, 44023) at 5 pm on Thursday, June 15, 2023. We invite anyone who knew Amy to attend and remember her wonderful life with family and friends. The family is recommending to bring a camping chair for comfort in case park seating overflows and/or to enjoy more of the parks many beautiful areas outside the pavilion.
