Americo Declet Obituary
Americo Declet of Maybrook, NY passed away at his home peacefully with his family by his side. He was 73. Americo was born in the Bronx on December 20, 1950 to the late Baldomero and Ramonda Pabon Declet. He was a truck driver for many years at Hunts Point Market, Bronx, NY. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
He is survived by his daughters,Aurora Declet of Bronx, NY and Melinda Aviles (Lido) of Maybrook; sisters, Isabel Bercedoni of Bronx, NY and Migdalia Reese of Arkansas; five grandchildren, Lido, Anthony, Jubile, Jacob and Dylan; great grandson, Justice; nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Monday March 11, 2024 from 2-4 PM and 6-8 PM at the Gridley-Horan Funeral Home, Inc. 39 Orchard St. Walden, NY 12586. gridleyhoran.com 845-778-3811
Services will be at 8PM following the visitation on Monday March 11, 2024 at the funeral home.
Burial will be on Tuesday March 12, 2024 at 11:15 AM in St. Raymond´s Cemetery, Bronx, NY.

I have known Americo for 25 years. He was a sweet friend. We laughed together and talked many times on the telephone. I tried calling him today and his phone was out of service. I knew something was wrong and I googled his name and the obituary came up on Google. I will truly miss you my friend. I know this past year was rough for you. When I didn't get a phone call from you on Mother's Day which you have been doing for the last 24 years, I knew something was wrong. You are in a better place and reunited with your mother. My prayers goes out to his daughters and extended family. Red as I called him was a very special and caring person. I will miss you my buddy. Love always your friend, Nancy Maldonado
