Amos Elmer Greene, born on October 31, 1929, in Detroit, Michigan, passed away on July 1, 2025, in Wyandotte, Michigan, at the age of 95. His life was a testament to kindness, generosity, and unwavering faith.

Amos dedicated over 32 years of his professional life as a cemetery representative at Michigan Memorial Park, where he touched countless lives with his compassion and dedication. His work was more than just a job; it was a calling that allowed him to serve others during their most vulnerable times.

A proud veteran, Amos served his country honorably in the Army during the Korean War. His experiences during this time shaped his character and instilled in him a deep sense of duty and resilience.

Amos was a man who cherished the company of others. His social nature and genuine interest in people made him a beloved figure in his community. He was known for his kind heart and generous spirit, always ready to lend a helping hand or share a warm smile.

His faith as an Evangelist was a cornerstone of his life, guiding him through every challenge and triumph. Amos found joy in reading and shopping, simple pleasures that brought him happiness and peace.

Amos is preceded in death by his daughter, Rebecca Trimble, and three siblings. He leaves behind a legacy of love and cherished memories with his beloved wife, Greta, and his children: Gina Akers, Steven (Cathy) Trimble, and Susan Burtch. He was the proud grandfather to 16 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren, who will carry forward his values and spirit.
