Amos William (Bill) Warnick was born on November 17, 1935, in Birmingham, Alabama, to Fred and Mae Warnick. As one of seven brothers, Bill grew up surrounded by a loving family. Throughout his life, he was known for his versatility and work ethic, possessing a talent for many trades. However, he was most recognized for his skill in operating printing presses in various print shops, until his retirement from UAB Print shop.

Bill was a devoted husband to Margie Bowles Warnick, to whom he was happily married for over 44 years until her passing in 2016. Their bond was a testament to enduring love and partnership, he loved her so much and missed her dearly after her death.

He was preceded in death by his parents; his brothers Leonard, Robert, Jim, John, and Ricky; his children Michael, Donna, Susan, and Billy Warnick; as well as Russell, Ed, and Alan Sorrell, and his beloved wife Margie.

Bill leaves behind a legacy of love through his children: Michelle (Jason) Fry, Robert (Lisa) Warnick, Cheryl (John) English, and Curtis Sorrell. He is also survived by his brother, David Warnick; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews-whose lives he touched deeply.

A caring, kind-hearted and funny man, Bill was a wonderful husband, father, Poppy, and Pop. His warmth, humor, and dedication made him a cherished figure to all who knew him. His absence leaves a great void, but his spirit and love will forever remain in the hearts of his family and friends.

Bill will be fondly remembered and deeply missed, but his legacy of love, strength, and character will continue to inspire his loved ones.
