Amy Michele Dresden age 62 of Madison Heights, Michigan passed away suddenly in Ponte Vedra, Florida on Monday, April 22, 2024.
Amy was born in Detroit, Michigan on August 9, 1961. She was the daughter of Edmund and Patricia Dresden. She worked as a medical assistant. She loved working out at the gym, Turner Classic Movies, Coloring, Bon Jovi, Coca Cola, and couldn't go without her morning vanilla lattes. Amy had many accomplishments but her biggest was being a mom to her 3 beautiful girls along with being the best "Mimi" to her 5 granddaughters.
Amy had an infectious smile and a great sense of humor. She was friendly to everyone but never had a problem speaking her mind. She was intelligent, witty and incredibly strong. We will remember Amy for her one-of-a-kind charm and beautiful soul.
Surviving are her children; Megan (Andrew) Hoppe, Mallory Lam, and Chelsea Garwood; grandchildren, Chloe and Delilah Martin, Harper, Reagan, and Briar Hoppe; siblings, Patti (Butch) Nickles, Debbie (Tim) Giddey. She was preceded in death by her parents, her siblings, Ed and Jon Dresden and her Grand dog Buddy.
A memorial gathering will be held at the Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home 2125 Twelve Mile Road in Berkley, (two blocks west of Woodward Avenue) Friday, May 3rd from 3 pm to 7pm. Amy was cremated according to her wishes.

Many memories from when we were kids growing up in a big family. Christmas Easter and other occasions brought us all together. Prayers to her girls and their families during this difficult time. Liz Major (cousin) and family.
