David William Butch, age 78 of Rochester Hills, passed away unexpectedly from heart failure at Corewell Health Hospital in Troy. He was born March 17, 1947 to Francis and Joseph Butch in Martins Ferry, Ohio.

Mr. Butch graduated Berkley High School in 1965. He joined the Air Force and served as a survival training instructor during the Vietnam War. Following his service, he attended Walsh College for his Bachelor's Degree in Business. He worked at Plum Hollow Country Club in Southfield for 30 years caring for the purchases and receiving related to the club's restaurant. He also worked in the same capacity for Beaumont Hospital in Royal Oak for another 10 years. David enjoyed brown belt Judo martial arts, his 1965 Plymouth Fury, the Berkley dream cruise parade and cruising Woodard Avenue during the dream cruise.

David leaves behind his beloved wife of 32 years, Martha, whom he married July 14, 1993 in Rochester, MI; two dear brother In-laws, Grady Bailey and David (Pamela) Bailey; several dear nieces and nephews; and many wonderful friends.

Private cremation has been entrusted to the Sawyer-Fuller Funeral Home.

In keeping with his wishes, private inurnment will be at Great Lakes National Cemetery in Holly, MI.
