She worked as a news and document editor for several organizations before stopping work to raise her children as a stay at home mom and home-school teacher. She was an amazing teacher, with both children enrolling in college with scholarships. Amy loved to travel, experience new things, and share those with her children. She also loved to junk and would always find a way to stop at a new or favorite junk, thrift, or antique store. She loved art museums, books, and had a life-long love of reading classic literature.
