Amy Marshey-Walker Obituary

Published by Legacy on Sep. 2, 2025.
Amy Lynn Marshey-Walker, 57, of Candia, NH, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2025, at the Community Hospice House in Merrimack after a courageous battle with cancer.

She was born on February 6, 1968, in Manchester, NH, daughter of Lynn Thornton and the late Fred Marshey.

Amy spent her early years in Hooksett before her family settled in Candia, where she grew up. She was a proud graduate of Central High School, Class of 1986. While out dancing at Circle 9 Ranch in Epsom, Amy met the love of her life, Harry Walker. The two married on January 16, 1993, and built a beautiful life together.

Amy first worked alongside her father in the family logging business, demonstrating her strong work ethic and determination. When her children were young, she devoted herself to being a loving and supportive stay-at-home mother. Later, she discovered her passion for massage therapy, working for several local businesses, including White Willow, where she touched the lives of many with her caring hands and kind spirit.

Above all, Amy cherished her family. She especially loved spending time with her grandchildren, who brought endless joy to her life. She will be remembered for her warmth, devotion, and the love she shared so freely with those around her.

Amy is survived by her loving husband, Harry Walker; her children, Kevin Black Jr. and his spouse Hali, Harry Walker Jr. and his spouse Holly, and Cedric Walker and his spouse Darian; her godson, Christopher Robinson and his spouse Kerri; her siblings, Tiffany Cartier and her spouse Joe, Fred Marshey and his spouse Ashley, Carrie Hathaway, Denise Barbin and her spouse Craig, and Pamela Gilbert and her spouse Josiah; her mother, Lynn Thornton; and ten cherished grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her father, Fred Marshey, and her sister, Brenda Lovato.
