Amy Ridley Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by John W. Keffer Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc. - East York on Mar. 6, 2026.
It is with deep sorrow and profound love that we announce the passing of Amy Kay (Wilson) Ridley, who left us on March 4, 2026, at the age of 55, following a long illness and a courageous fight. A resident of Red Lion, Amy was a woman of remarkable spirit who spent her years doting on her grandchildren and making the world a brighter, kinder place through her quiet strength and generosity.

Born in Baltimore County, Amy was known by all for her talent in the kitchen and her sharp eye for a "hidden treasure." She loved spending afternoons rooting through thrift shops-a passion passed down from her mother and shared deeply with her sister, Karen. To Amy, the joy was always in the hunt, and many of her favorite discoveries eventually found their perfect home adorning the family cabin. Despite her love for the "find," her greatest treasures were never found in a shop; her heart was always most at home when she was surrounded by those she loved. Her absolute favorite place was the family cabin-a sanctuary where the door was always open and the days were filled with laughter. Whether she was playing a spirited game of cards at the picnic table or sitting peacefully by the fire, she was at her happiest when the cabin was full of family and friends. Those moments of connection, warmth, and quiet joy are the true legacy she leaves behind.

Amy is survived by her husband, Connie E. Ridley Jr.; her children, Andrea Wilson, Zachary Blockston, Madelyn Wilson, and Alison Ridley; and her grandchildren, Cash, Ryen, and Axel Keller, and Leo and Lewis Blockston, who were her greatest joy. Her legacy lives on every time her family gathers. She is also survived by her brother, Scott Kasemeyer, and her sisters, Robin Kasemeyer and Karen Marks. She was preceded in death by her parents, William Linden Wilson and Shirley Estelle (Fersterman) Wilson.

A celebration of Amy's life and the love she shared will be held on:
