Amy McAnally Simpson

My condolences to Amy´s family. I just came across her "In Memoriam" in the JBU Bulletin. Amy and I were both majoring in Elem Ed at JBU. I remember her as being vibrant and passionate about teaching. I know we shared classes together. I pray the family finds peace until they are reunited together again.

Amy and I were a piano playing duo under legendary Betty Sutton. We practiced once a week at 7am and performed several concerts at local churches. Amy was a natural who could light up the keyboard with runs and chords like I´d never heard. She was a great piano partner and so much fun even in junior high when we were cheerleaders together. I´m thankful for her friendship and will always remember the good times we shared. Rip my dear friend
