Amy McAnally Simpson was born on September 20, 1968 in Springfield, MO, to Charles & Jody McAnally. She passed away peacefully at home on April 22, 2023. Amy was preceded in death by her daddy, Charles McAnally. She leaves behind her immediate family, her mother, her brother, Charles Wayne McAnally of Rogers, AR, her sister Maria (Titi) Ramilo Henry and husband David of Paris, France. She married the love of her life, Stan Simpson, on December 2,1995, and had 3 beautiful children; Madison and her husband Michael Feher of Las Vegas, NV; Makenzie and her husband James Byers Elmore of Centerton and Mason Simpson of Rogers, AR.

Amy graduated Rogers High School in 1986, she completed her college degree at John Brown University. She began teaching in 1994 and later earned her Masters degree in Administration. She made a tremendous impact in the field of education. She finished her career serving as the principal at Elm Tree Elementary, where her heart for education and phenomenal leadership and encouragement skills earned her a candidacy for the Masters Principal Designation.

Amy was full of life and lit up every room she was in with her smile. She was ornery and spunky, yet kind & gentle. Her laughter was contagious and she loved her family and friends fiercely. She loved Jesus, faithfully attending FBC of Bentonville and serving in the music ministry for many years. Amy radiated the love of Christ in her community and her beloved "framily".

Amy's family will miss her dearly, and they eagerly await their reunion in heaven. Her Celebration of Life service will be held Thursday April 27 at 5:00pm at First Baptist Church, Bentonville.
