Amy Elizabeth Welle (Weston) passed peacefully surrounded by family on Sunday, October
12th, 2025. Amy was born on August 17th, 1971 as the second child and only daughter to ML
and Jim Weston in Littleton, Colorado.
Amy graduated from Northshore High School in Slidell, Louisiana. At the age of 25, Amy
became a devoted mother to her only child, Amber. Shortly thereafter, she relocated with her
daughter to Parker, Colorado. She went on to study at University of Colorado Denver, where
she obtained a degree in accounting and subsequently earned her CPA.
Amy was known for her contagious laughter (with occasional snorting), and her loving devotion
to her friends, family, and beloved "puppers". She enjoyed seeking out local "hole-in-the-wall"
hang out spots, watching her favorite football team, the Denver Broncos, spending long hours
with her dear friends at the neighborhood dog park, talking with her Dad on the phone and
joining him at their weekly "happy hour", watching (and often quoting) her favorite movies, and
listening to her favorite bands and artists. Amy was unapologetically herself, and took great
pleasure in singing at the top of her lungs and dancing like nobody was watching. She was
gifted with a witty sense of humor, and was infatuated with her role of being a "Mimi" to her only
grandson.
Amy is survived by many who love and miss her deeply. This includes her father Jim Weston,
her daughter Amber Marye Valdez and her husband Levi, and their son Cohen James Valdez
who was Amy's only grandchild, her brother David Graham Weston and his wife Christie, and
their three children Zach, Cailynn, and Cenna.
A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM MT on Saturday, November 8th, 2025 at the Parker
Funeral Home, located at 10325 Parkglenn Way, Parker, CO, 80138. Following this service, a
gathering will be held at Amy's residence in Castle Rock, CO.
