Ana Marie Bautista passed away on Wednesday, September 27, 2023. Ana was born on December 24, 1971, to Benjamin Bautista and Angeles Bautista in Angeles City, Philippines.
Ana fought for 9 years battling not one, but two forms of cancer. While in remission from her previous diagnosis she was diagnosed with a new cancer in July of this year. Ana was preparing to receive a bone marrow transplant on October 12, 2023.
Ana graduated from Fridley High School in 1990. Ana went to school in the Philippines, Japan, and the United States. She had a love of sports and actively played and managed softball and bowling teams for many years. She worked in administration for various companies throughout the years. Ana wanted to further her career, she graduated with a degree in accounting in 2012.
Ana's joy above all else was her children, her grandchildren, and her Godson. They are what kept her going through the good and bad times. During her illness they brought the joy, the smiles, and the warmth that she needed to keep going.
Ana loved crime shows, playing games on her phone, garage sales, knitting, and cooking. We all know that she loved a good game of Mahjong and would play throughout the night (and many days)!!! Ana's love of music was incredible, her knowledge of it was unmatched! If you ever needed to know the name of a song or the artist, no matter the genre you could give her key words or hum a few bars and she had the answer for you. Ana loved to travel home to the Philippines.
Ana was preceded in death by her Mother Angeles Bautista; Father, Benjamin Bautista; Stepfather, Keith Hauck; Sister, Maritess Bautista; and Brothers, Alfredo Bautista and Antonio Bautista.
She leaves to cherish her memory, Sons, Savon (Alex) Bautista and Romeo Bautista; Daughter, Anissa (Kamren) Bautista-Meah, Grandchildren, Ra'Quell, Kai, Kev'ahli, Ahre'al, and Kour'age; Mother, "Mama" Theresa, siblings, Mar (Merly), Lito, Ernie, Angelina, Brenda, Mike, Kenny(Brittany), Matt, Mercy, Tania (Tony), and a host of Nieces, Nephews, Cousins, and Friends.
